Terms of service
Last updated: October 13, 2026.
1. What Fotografou does
Fotografou lets an event organizer create a public page with a QR code so guests can upload photos and videos. Uploaded files are written directly to the Google Drive account the organizer connects.
We do not store original files. What we keep on our infrastructure is a reduced thumbnail of each upload, used to display the gallery, plus the event details and counters.
2. Accounts and organizer responsibilities
To create an album you need a Fotografou account and a Google account. The organizer is responsible for their login credentials and for the content published on the event page.
The organizer controls the data and files received. It is up to them to inform guests about the collection, decide whether the gallery is visible and moderate content when needed. We provide the tools; the organizer makes the decisions.
3. Payment and taxes
Creating, customizing and previewing an album are free. Publishing costs $19.00 per event, as a one-time payment, and makes the public page available for 365 days.
Payments are processed by Stripe on a secure checkout page. We never receive or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars; any sales tax or VAT that applies in your country is shown at checkout before you pay. Your bank may apply its own currency conversion fees.
There is no subscription, recurring charge, per-guest fee or per-file fee. Renewal is optional and keeps the same address and QR code. After expiry, the public page becomes unavailable; the dashboard stays available to the organizer and the files remain in their Google Drive.
4. Refunds
Refunds follow our refund policy, available at /refund-policy. In short: you can get a full refund within 14 days of payment if the album has not received any uploads yet.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to publish or collect content that is illegal, infringes the rights of others, exposes people without their consent, or amounts to harassment, discrimination or the exploitation of minors.
Anyone can report an album from the event page itself. Albums that break these rules may be suspended without notice, and the publication fee is not refunded in those cases.
6. Availability and limitations
The service relies on third parties — Google Drive, Stripe and infrastructure providers. Outages at those providers may temporarily affect uploads or payments.
If the Google Drive connection is revoked, expires or runs out of space, uploads are paused and the organizer is notified. The service never confirms an upload that was not actually saved to Google Drive.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the publication concerned.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated. Significant changes are communicated by email to organizers with active albums, with reasonable notice.
